John Colton
John Colton. MD of Kingcombe Aquacare Ltd, has considerable experience of providing evidence as an expert witness, having appeared in the High Court in London and in court elsewhere to give expert testimony in person. He has written numerous reports which have helped to settle disputes at an early stage.
Subject matters have ranged from establishing the correct level of damages in a pollution incident involving a large fish farm (engaged by Eagle Star Insurance), to confirming correct construction techniques for a conservation lake, which failed to perform as intended because of poor working practice (engaged by a charity organisation).
John Colton works closely with solicitors, barristers and the opposing party’s own expert witnesses to achieve a satisfactory conclusion to each dispute, preferably without having to go to the expense and delay of court proceedings.
