Oxfordshire River Enhancement
Our Maintenance team have recently completed a habitat improvement scheme for the Oxfordshire Mental Healthcare Trust. The banks and channel were seriously overgrown and posed a threat with regard to flooding.
We removed a huge amount of litter from the area including bottles, tyres, clothing, trollies as well as other "unmentionables"! Following this, we pollarded the willow trees and removed all the timber from the river.
Finally we erected a timber post and rail fence and landscaped the works area. The following photographs show the transformation.
