Below are images of this interesting project. With all of the necessary groundwork already completed by Stepnell Ltd, our team were able to attend on site to install a Firestone EPDM liner. This was a highly technical installation involving a large amount of field splicing, corner detailing and manual sleeving of pipe penetrations. Our work was subsequently checked and passed by a Firestone technical representative enabling them to issue their full guarantee. Our M and E Engineer designed the recirculating systems which involved the use of flow makers, UV lamps, multiple pumps, various fountains, gravel and reed bed filters (requiring a total of 36 tons of non-calcarious shingle). The whole system is controlled by a custom built control panel which also controls under water lighting and automatic top-up systems. The system has just been commissioned and handed over to the main contractor.
