Description of Contract:
Kingcombe Aquacare designed the circular pond and Jet d'Eau that now sits proudly in front of the main entrance to Wilbury Park.
Working closely with the main contractors on this prestigious restoration project, Ken Biggs (Contractors) Ltd, Kingcombe Aquacare was asked to assist with the construction of this important water feature, having already successfully completed the creation of a more informal lake in the grounds of the property.

Bearing in mind the requirements of CDM regulations, we specified, supplied and installed an underground external pumping chamber complete with all M&E equipment for the feature, thereby ensuring future ease of maintenance. We also supplied and installed the butyl pre-fabricated membrane, which was factory made to measure and then fitted by our own staff on site. This membrane was covered with a further layer of protective geotextile, and then hidden under a final 150mm concrete screed.
